Personalised Travel Planning Project
During the summer of 2018 the walking and cycling charity Sustrans worked with Somerset County Council to offer travel advice and information to the residents of Manor and Wilton, Comeytrowe, Killams and Mountfield.
In 2017 we were working with residents, businesses, schools and community groups in Eastgate, Hollway, Halcon and Blackbrook, enabling them to make better travel choices.
There are also a variety of phone apps on the market you can use to measure how far you have walked and calories burned. Why not try our Travel Change Calculator
If you are thinking of buying a bike to commute to work or study, check with your employer to see if they have signed up to the National Cycle to Work scheme which provides loans to help employees buy their own bike and make further savings on bike equipment.
Bike hire & bike maintenance courses
